The JVM enables rich introspection with advanced tools such as JMX, flight recorder, mission control and all the goodies in the bin folder of your JDK.
These are however, expert tools, and may have a quite high entry threshold. Where do you begin, and what strategies should you use to troubleshoot your particular problem?
LLMs are now the solution when you need to get started on a new skill in unfamiliar territory.
We will look at ongoing MCP initiatives to bridge the gap between the information present in the JVM and your troubleshooting effort.
This way you can express the problem you are trying to solve, without knowing every in and out of these advanced tools and troubleshooting strategies.
The presentation will partly be based on live demo. Therefore, with LLMs in the mix, I am as curious on the outcome as you are!
